This is the next lot of images I took at Perth. On the Saturday I was there (or was it Sunday?) there was an art street fair with pop-up shops and stalls, live painting/art, open studios and music. Pretty cool little set-up and it was awesome to see small time artists getting there work out there through whatever means possible.

Despite all this action I didn’t see anything that I wanted to take a photo of… Until I saw this ute!

Shooting in a vehicle in the street doesn’t give you much room to use. Almost like shooting a building in the city. And I only had my 50mm with me which didn’t really have enough angle to get the shots I wanted.

Lesson: buy a good camera bag and carry your lenses with you. Next lesson, shooting vehicles is better with a wide angle lens. Easy.
